Summer Schedule

During the summer we like to do a little something different on Wednesday nights! We will be having a lot more activities, some we travel for, some we don't.

Here is a schedule for the summer (subject to change):

June 27th: Worship Night

July 2nd: White Water

July 4th: No Service

July 11th: Pool Party and Parents meeting about camp

July 18th: Camp

July 25th: Lake day at Mr. Pete's

August 1st: Color War

Summer Camp

We are going to camp with GENERATE again this year. We will be at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA.

All students will be involved in morning quiet times, worship services, small groups, free time, and gathering together at the end of each day for church group time.

During the day, the middle schoolers will be at recreation and the high schoolers will be doing missions. The price is $259 per person. If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

We are looking for students to serve in the youth group, specifically on Wednesday nights. There are various areas to serve, including: playing in the youth band, helping in the sound booth, setting up for worship, and more! If interested, please let Micah or Kaylee know!

Mission Trip

We have a mission trip planned for the fall to Boston, MA! We will be serving with a church planter, helping with whatever needs they have. It is October 6-13, which is Fall Break for Morgan County, Newton County, and half of Social Circle's break! Let us know if interested!

ONE80 Youth @ CrossRoads Baptist Church

Our Mission: to make Disciples of Jesus Christ who Love the Lord, Love Each Other, Serve with Urgency

Our Vision:

To make student disciples of Jesus Christ who make disciples of others.

Our Mission:

To Love the Lord, Love Each Other, and Serve with Urgency

Based upon:

Matthew 22:36-37, "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Matthew 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Our Discipleship Strategy:

Step #1 (Entry Level) - Things we do to encourage the un-churched youth in our community to come...

Draw Events - Fun events throughout the year (usually on a Wednesday night or a weekend) Exs. Redneck Olympics, Super Bowl Bash, Giant Slip-N-Slide, Etc.

Wednesday Night Youth - Fun, Loud, Relational, and the Gospel is our goal. To create an environment that lost kids want to come to, and tell them about Jesus.

Step #2 - Things we do to encourage youth to begin to grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus...

Sunday Morning Small Group Bible Study

Sunday Morning Worship Service

Step #3 - For those Youth who want to go deeper in relationship with other believers and with God...

Relationship Evangelism - Encouraging students to tell their friends about Jesus and invite them to come and hear more.

Student Leadership - leading small groups of middle school students, serving in the Kid's Ministry, leading worship for youth and adults, running a/v equipment...

Discipleship Groups - We have closed discipleship groups of about 3-5 students of the same gender and relative age, led by adults in our church. These groups are meant for students to grow closer to the Lord and relationally with each other. It is true, intentional discipleship.
